"It is difficult not to feel for her art, both texturally and emotionally. On the surface is the three-dimensionality of the flexible materials she uses, beckoning the viewer to touch and feel. The underlying emotional response evoked in the viewer is an emphatic feeling, verging on a sense of caring for these oddities. Their human-like qualities ask us to consider how we might help or nurture them, and they leave the viewer to wonder if there may be others like them somewhere."
